According to surveys conducted by Yahoo and the
Bureau of Labor Statistics, between eighty three and eighty
four percent of American workers are passive prospects-
they are employed and are not actively seeking a change
in employment. Of these passive prospects, forty one
percent routinely visit and browse job boards or have
placed their resume on a job board.
